woke up this morning to a home full of love, comprising of the boyfriend, roomie, Nessy & Alexa. hungry tummies lead us to a fab breakfast at Cagibi, where a couple others joined.

then just us ladies headed to the flea market. 

exhausted from our ventures, we did some stooping. 

a most wonderful day.

however for this evening it is all I had, and I liked this spot. made for a nice monday night. montreal has its ups and downs. life is not all peachy and pink, but for the first time in a long time; this place feels ok. feels like it is going to be ok.

hi nessy's new place

I really like Nessy's new place. off of a park with a large fountain and free pool in the heart of st- henri (ie, I do not know the name of this park), her lovely second story nook is very cozy and cute. I wish I was not so busy with work so I could spend more time there. hmm. 

but work is still good; I have been pretty blessed with the opportunity this summer to run the  special needs program for kids at the y. it has been a lot harder than I had expected, yet such an incredible learning experience and embellishment of my passion for this field. oh full-time summer jobs, how you take over my summer and social life.

so this was gifted to me anonymously, to be found in the basket of my bike one morning. still no leads as to whom may have left it. perhaps just a stranger. oh well. I do not know whether to be weirded-out, insulted, or appreciative. ha.

Adrian and I went to East Hampton for the long weekend, to spend some time in his home-town. 'lots of beach hangs, delicious foods, shopping, exploring, family and friends. other than losing my prescription glasses in the ocean, it was a wonderful time and I hope to visit again soon.

I was very fortunate this past weekend to have three lovely friends from new-brunwick come spend the weekend here in mtl. two of them were apartment hunting, and will be moving here in july; so stoked!

the most beautiful couple I know, Jess and Oli, are moving to Toronto in two weeks. they are to be married in a year, and Oli is starting a new job out there. they will be very missed by many people here in Mtl. Nessy decided to throw a surprise going-away-party / fundraiser for lil' sis and husband to be; both Nessy and Ev worked very hard to put all of this together. best of luck in TO, we love you; bye for now.
