he turned 11 years old today. we had cake and went bowling. it was the best! I have said it before and I will say it again: having this little guy in my life is amazing. I love him to pieces. oh, and Staci, all applies to her as well. and while I am at it, Joan and Jordan aren't so bad either!

pug fever

this little guy is Carlton. he was living temporarily at Adrian's place. I sorta adopted him as my own during this time. we played and cuddled, and he followed me around everywhere. I fell in love. but then he had to go. and now I want a pug. I've been perusing kijiji, but really I am just torturing myself. with my school and work schedule, I am not home enough to keep care of an animal, especially not a dog. I am not down with the pee-mat training thing, I feel like dogs should be walked at a minimum three times per day to do their business outdoors. I could easily do the two/day walk, but three would be impossible on days when I am gone 9-5. uhg. whyyyyy. so unfair. I want one. solutions?

though not readily identifiable, the musicians in front of this wall of amps are lightening bolt (surprisingly their first time playing mtl). it was last night. it was rad. a lot of good pals were there, some I had not seen in ages (Bronson, mostly). good end of the day considering that 12hrs prior I was writing the GRE (yes, it went well).

tattoos hit the big league

yesterday upon my walk to go pick-up my computer at futureshop (finally fixed), I stumbled across two Giorgio Armani adds. in both adds is featured the same model, whom has a tattoo on the inside of her right arm (see above photos). maybe I have been living under a rock, but this is the first time I see a model for such a large scale fashion line with tattoos; needless to say I was quite surprised. I guess the rumours are true: tattoos are becoming more mainstream with the times.

*correction: apparently this is well-known actress Megan Fox. I guess I have been living under a rock.
